We’re all about offering local conveniences and delicacies to our local NoHo community. We want to make it easy for our neighbors to buy great, locally sourced groceries in the North Howard area any day of the week without having to drive across town.
Duckweed got its beginning in 2011 when the original owners, who lived in downtown Tampa, realized they were out of eggs and couldn’t make the breakfast that they had planned to prepare. Wishing there was a local downtown grocery market, they instantly realized a need for a downtown location to buy groceries. And so we began!
Today, we have locations in Downtown Tampa, Channel District, Westshore Marina, NoHo Square, and St. Petersburg. You can visit us at the closest location to you! Yes, we are a locally owned small business here in our Tampa community for over 10 years.
